Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. You may optionally add a phone number, birthday, gender, profile photo, and bio.

Artist information. If you register as a makeup or hair artist, we also collect your service menu, pricing, portfolio images, and skill level.

Booking information. When you book or accept an appointment, we collect the service, date, time, price, and the names/emails of the client and artist involved.

Messages & community content. We store direct messages, community posts, comments, images, and reactions you choose to share within the App.

Location information. With your permission, we use approximate location to show nearby artists on the map.

Payment information. When appointment payments are enabled, payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles that securely on our behalf.

Usage & device information. We automatically collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and general usage patterns to keep the Services secure and reliable.

Between clients and artists as necessary to complete a booking (e.g. name, contact, appointment details)
With service providers who help us operate the Services, such as Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication, storage) and Stripe (payments)
When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of MUAH and our users

4. Data Storage & Security

Your information is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit. Access to your data is restricted based on your account and role. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Choices

You can review and update your profile information at any time in the App
You can disable location permissions in your device settings
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us

6. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
